CHRISTMAS STORE (DECEMBER)

We will bring children from our regular Bible study locations to a central location to “shop” for gifts for their parents or guardians (for free!). The children will also hear a presentation of the Christmas story, play games, make a craft, and have a snack.

• Volunteer – assemble gift baskets with the gift items that are donated for the store, drive a vehicle to transport children to and from the store, help with activities at the store (craft, games, shopping, wrapping, etc)

• Donate – new or gently used gifts items for the store; suggested items: candles, purses, coffee mugs, small home decor, Christmas decor, lotion, new cosmetics, cologne, jewelry, devotional books, new t-shirts (for men), small tools, flashlights, cans of nuts, etc.  Collection will begin near the end of October.  You may also donate money for the purchase of gifts.

• Pray – for the safety of the many volunteers and children participating and that hearts would be touched with the Gospel of Christ through this event
